SNOWDONIA & LLEYN PENINSULA B537 Y537 B124 J537
| Themed itinerary breaks in Criccieth |
| Snowdonia was designated a National Park in 1951. Covering over 840 square miles, it incorporates huge expanses of wild beauty amongst the scenic mountains of North Wales, and contains 96 spectacular peaks of over 600 metres. The remote Lleyn Peninsula is geographically a continuation of Snowdonia with its wild scenery and splendid coastline. At the base of the peninsula lies the charming Victorian seaside resort of Criccieth with the ruins of its 13th century castle affording fine views over Cardigan Bay. |
